hy-vee-logoWe know you will enjoy this new LOCAL meal option to fuel your body with clean, wholesome meals that support paleo, dairy-free and gluten-sensitive lifestyles. Dr. Jason Bradley, with EPIC Functional Medicine and Hy-Vee North Dodge (1125 N. Dodge St., Iowa City, IA 52245) created a partnership to offer affordable Chef To-Go meal kits, to support EPIC Health in 2017!

Meals will include chopped, measured, prepped organic and natural ingredients for a delicious and fun cook at home experience. Recipes are hand-selected by EPIC and Hy-Vee staff and are offered as 2-portion and 4-portion meals.

Simply mention your name, let them know you’ve arrived to pick up your EPIC meals, and Hy-Vee will handle the rest!     • Made with eggplant, zucchini, bell pepper, onion, cherry tomatoes and Chef created Italian dressing.

  • Meal C: Nut Crusted Chicken Fingers with Roasted Cauliflower

    • Organic chicken tossed in coconut milk and coated with ground almonds and pecans, smoked paprika, garlic powder and salt. Served alongside roasted cauliflower that has been pre-seasoned with olive oil, salt and pepper and garnished with lemon juice and fresh herbs.

    • Organic ground beef cooked with garlic and sautéed broccoli, red bell peppers and spiralized zucchini in a sauce with coconut aminos, apple cider vinegar, ginger and coconut nectar topped with fresh scallions.

Please note that meals may be picked up any day/time (after noted ready time above), but should be used up within three days of the pickup date or per expiration date on label. For example, ordering Monday’s meals and not picking them up until Friday is not recommended, as pre-chopped ingredients will not be nutrient rich and fresh. We cannot certify these meals as gluten-free, but we do make every effort to ensure there is not cross-contamination with other gluten or nuts in our facility.
